由于在槟城吃了伍秀泽和文昌海南鸡饭两家，总感觉后面再吃也无法赶上伍秀泽的水准了。故即使住在唐人街附近也并没有一定要来南香的念头，只是走到门店跟前了，就进去尝一下吧。价格上比起伍秀泽几乎翻倍，要鸡腿还得另加钱。要了一份菜园鸡8Rm，鸡腿加1Rm，又要了份鱼圆汤。不知道什么是菜园鸡，看价格比普通的鸡几乎翻番，应该是更好的鸡吧。白切的，入口的感觉很糯，但分量太少了，两人吃一份有点少。不过偶们也就尝尝而已。鱼圆汤，里面有馅的那种，不是纯的鱼圆，汤内有几片生菜。汤比鱼圆好吃，蔬菜更喜欢偶们到店的时候上午10点刚开门，店内空荡荡，服务员人数比客人多很多，都是些大妈大嫂，态度也比较冷，有点国内国营店的范儿。
